OK, long time no see. I've by no means been inactive in the community. I've taken the role of the Icewind Dale Conversion Team's Lead Scripter - which does take some time. I also published my third review - The Shadowdancer's Vault by Jolly Jenkins. and finally I have joined the AME panel, all this while continuing the development of Nature in Danger. I've still not come to area building because, to be frank, I'm still considering if I should do this in NWN2 or NWN1. The time required (not to say talent) to create a good area in NWN2 is a bit shocking to speak the truth. The graphics are so much better though, it keeps me thinking of what to do, feedback welcome. What I have for now is what I think is a pretty solid storyline, not to restrictive, so as to allow me to add new bits on the go, but not to loose as to making me feel lost.
That's me for now in a nutshell. Keep your eyes peeled for the NWN1 Golden Dragon Awards winners, coming soon.

Nature's Avatar Fix

This fix is going into the Campaign as well as the vault. Enjoy! On to other matters the story is now well-defined in my head and should start entering some design documents. The summary should then by written and the masses enlightened. Keep up with me a little longer.

Every Tale has a Start

May mine start here. This is a blog created for members of the NWN community to track the development of my soon-to-be campaign, Nature in Danger. Details in the plot will soon come. The module is made with this goals in mind:
  1. To provide a enjoyable experience;
  2. To allow only for the use of a druid(ess);
  3. To create an all new setting, based in the FR lore;
  4. To allow a player to roleplay their class;
  5. To provide a unique gameplay and combat strategies.
A few question for you, the player. After much thought I decided to submit this for consideration of the community: shall rangers be allowed as well? The way the plot is done it definitely could, but I fear their class may be a little overlooked. I have been thinking of some custom sistems for the druids. This includes the My Little Animal Helper (MLAH) that allow the druid to summon an animal for a limited period of time. Every animal would have a specific function like scouting, providing healing and fighting. The skill Animal Empathy is back and is going to coordinate this ability, as well as several other in game checks.
Oh, I feared I have revealed too much already. I fear you'll have to wait fer a while before I come back to you lads.
